Considering Prince removed all of his catalog from every streaming service besides TIDAL, it’s a little peculiar he would throw Spotify a bone and exclusively release a song on there. That’s just what’s happening, though. “Stare” is the only song you will find on there, if you even find it, because as of writing this, it doesn’t show up when you go to his artist profile.
The song is funky enough to get an add to your latest R&B playlist, and even has inklings of the old ’80s purple one, with a tiny guitar riff that sounds a lot like “Kiss.”
