Prince’s Music Is Finally Coming to Apple Music and Spotify

We’ve heard this before, but it looks like it’s finally happening. Prince‘s music is coming out of the TIDAL purgatory of streaming and making its way to other platforms.

Warner Music Group has partnered with Apple Music to widen the accessibility of the Purple One’s catalog, meaning TIDAL will no longer be the exclusive home for online streaming. Fans of Prince have had to endure the absence of his music on services, unless they signed up for TIDAL, but that no longer may be the case. From now until the GRAMMYs (the timeframe they have given for the music to show up), you could be bumping Purple Rain and singles like “I Wanna Be Your Lover,” “Do Me Baby” and “1999” on Apple Music.

Spotify is also supposed to be landing Prince’s music for streaming at a later time. They have been teasing purple ads all over New York’s Union Square today.
