Prodigy Breaks Down the Meaning Behind the Illuminati & Talks New Album

Throughout the span of his career, Prodigy has been dropping hints of the ‘illuminati’ in lyrics, but it hasn’t been up until recently that he’s concentrated on the subject. On his Hegelian Dialectic (The Book of Revelation) album, he opens up as much as he ever has and he has taken the time to sit down with GENIUS to speak on it.

During the conversation, P talked about the origins of why he said lines like “illuminati want my mind, soul and my body,” how he felt when JAY Z sampled it on “D’Evils” and how far he’s come since then. Prodigy said that he’s wanted to make an album like Hegelian Dialectic (The Book of Revelation) since he was 19 years old, but didn’t know when or how he was going to make it. Luckily, at this point in his life, he thought it would be good and finally crafted it.
