It’s been a crazy week for The Notorious B.I.G‘s “I Got A Story To Tell” because after decades of speculation regarding who he was talking about on the song, it seems like the mystery has been solved. Fat Joe first let the secret slip out on Highly Questionable when he named dropped Anthony Mason as the one who the incident happened to, but now we have more confirmation from the one who was closest to the source: Puff Daddy.
On a call with The Breakfast Club this morning promoting the Bad Boy Reunion show in New York, Diddy was asked what his favorite Biggie song was. Conveniently, he mentioned the track and was then asked about who it was talking about.
Considering Puff is all about the positivity and love, he didn’t want to quite say it. After dancing around the question in Diddy Bop fashion, he just admitted it was Mason and ended the call.
Sean Combs also spoke on the tour, how it came about, if there will be any Biggie holograms, internal beef and what this reunion tour means for the Bad Boy family. He said it’s more about celebrating the past and those who made it happen, which is why you won’t hear B5 or groups like that.
