Puff Daddy Officially Announces Music Retirement to Focus on Acting

‘No Way Out 2’ coming this year?

After twenty-five years of making hit-singles, Puff Daddy may finally be ready to hang up his rap jersey. With the Harlem mogul investing time in his Cîroc vodka brand, fitness water Aquahydrate and even a cable network; Mr. Combs is looking to formally make a transition to acting.

In recent years, Puffy has been alluding to an imminent retirement; but now cites he wants to enjoy his victory lap. In an interview with Cigar Aficionado Magazine, he confirmed that he’s throwing in his rap towel – following the pending release of his seventh studio album, No Way Out Two.

He went to say, “I’m going to put out my last album and devote 100 percent of my time to doing films. I want to stop at a great place. And a final album is a great place to stop. I want to take a victory lap, to do a world tour and really enjoy it once last time.” While he wouldn’t confirm whether or not the album is releasing this year, we’re assuming it’ll somehow tie into the 20th anniversary of Frank White’s passing, with possible never-before-heard rhymes from the late rapper.
