Pusha-Ton recently stopped by Hot 107.9 Philly to chop it up with Q Deezy about his debut studio album “My Name Is My Name.” The two started things off with discussing the album’s release date, which Push confirmed it’s still slated to release this summer. He’s currently waiting on ‘Ye to finish verses for its first official single “I Am,” so expect that to surface in the coming weeks.
He went on to name the producers on the album (Hit-Boy, Pharrell, The-Dream, Just Blaze and No I.D., to name a few) with guest appearances including Rozay, Future and two more artists he’s currently waiting for verses alongside Kanye West.
Q Deezy went on to ask Pusha T if he feels underrated and hasn’t gotten his due. Push opened up saying he feels him and his brother Malice still have the fans support after all of these years, which is the only thing that’s matters to them in comparison to any accolade.
The two closed out with MTV’s hottest MC list, and how Kanye named Wayne the hottest rapper something Pusha T wasn’t too fond of. Pusha briefly touched on list and felt every rapper should have at least have one quotable line and an album out; and understood why he didn’t make the final cut.
