If you heard Pusha T‘s “40 Acres” from the My Name Is My Name album a few days ago, you’re probably more familiar with what Pusha was saying on there. If not, you can get a better feel though this talk to MTV News, as Pyrex P explains that this song is the reason for everything because it’s the introspective view into himself. He’s telling you about family life, and where he’s coming from and “40 Acres” is that summed up.

Before the video clip ended, Pusha was asked about his brother No Malice and how they deal with his transition into more gospel raps recently. In turn, he responded with the fact that the music is only that. His relationship with his brother is way more than anything that rap could offer and all he wants to see is Malice be happy in life.

For more street tales and a more personal look into the life and mind of Push, cop My Name Is My Name, due out in stores on October 8.
