Pusha T Reveals “My Name Is My Name” Features & Production

FUSE’s Esteban Serrano caught up with Pusha T at their VEVO-sponsored Coachella event recently, to discuss upcoming debut studio album “My Name Is My Name.” With the release of his Kanye West produced Numbers On The Boards,” Esteban asked if the track a representation of what to expect on the album.

Pusha cited the album as a fusion of four of his favorite albums, including “Life after Death,” “Harlem World” and “The Purple Tape;” naming those two the most dynamic diversities missing from rap. ‘Ton went on to discuss features and production from the album, which he listed out Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, The-Dream, Nottz, Don Cannon, Swizz Beatz and G.O.O.D. Music’s latest signee, Hudson Mohawke.

For features, he named heavyweights such as Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar (a Nottz-produced track) and Future. He closes out the interview by giving us the heads up about a definitive release date for the album, coming this week, saying he and Kanye are in London now putting the finishing touches on the project.
