Last night, Pusha T was up at the Late Show with Stephen Colbert not to perform, but to sit down for an interview next to actress Mary-Louise Parker. With Push and Colbert meeting for the first time, they started off the chat talking about one of his biggest tracks “Grindin'” as the Clipse. They dropped the beat and talked about its origins, and how Pharrell almost gave it to JAY Z.
Pusha also talked about his involvement in McDonald’s “I’m Lovin’ It” jingle with Justin Timberlake and endorsing Hillary Clinton. On the topic of politics, he spoke out about incarceration rates in the US. “I feel like that’s the most important issue tearing apart our community right now,” he says.
