“You don’t need to give me any of your love, sir”
We don’t want to believe that R. Kelly is naive enough to not know that some interviews are always going to hint at his past with young girls and how that relates to his sexually explicit music, but it seems like he had no idea this was going to happen during his interview with the HuffPo.
Once he felt like he was being attacked, it was all downhill from there.
While the girl interviewing him was being as respectful as she could (you know, compared to the shit that you read on Twitter timelines and comments sections), Kellz started feeling offended after she asked him about his lyrics and how they related to his personal sex life. He accused her level of intelligence, tried to stop her from conducting “a deposition” and disrespecting him with negative questions. He even went as far as to say all she wanted was ratings.
The boiling point was at the end when he gave her one last chance to ask something and in a moment of frustration, she ripped him with a question directly addressing his past and how it affects the way his fans consume his music. She kept it G and he walked out.
But he didn’t leave without saying she was beautiful and that he loves all his fans.
