The Bond Theme Was Almost Almost Radiohead
Throughout the year, Radiohead were one of the favorites to land the theme song for the latest Bond film Spectre, but clearly, the director decided to go with Sam Smith’s “Writing’s on the Wall.” To save the song from going to waste, they’ve released the three-minute track simply titled “Spectre.” Previously, frontman Thom Yorke released his solo song “You Wouldn’t Like Me When I’m Angry” on Christmas last year.
Radiohead are expected to release the follow-up to The King of Limbs in 2016.
