Anytime Kanye West is readying an album the whole world pays attention. Kanye is currently readying his seventh studio album and he has everyone’s eyes and ears. Whenever he drops an album it usually pushes the boundaries of Rap and other genres, and is nothing like its predecessor. His last album Yeezus, did all the above and despite the immediate critiques of the album stands as a reason we pay attention when Mr. West is talking. He’s not the man he was five years ago, as he’s now married and fathers two children. We don’t know where Mr. West will be going after this album since he’s been making so many strides in the world of fashion.
The anticipation of the album lies not only around what it will sound like but where Kanye will go from here. To heighten anticipation for the effort, Kanye has brought back G.O.O.D Friday’s, which before was used upon the release of the classic My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. So far we’ve received the Metro Boomin’ and Southside produced “Facts” and this week we got the Ty Dolla $ign assisted “Real Friends” along with a snippet of “No More Parties In LA,” which features Kendrick Lamar. He also gave us the release date on SWISH, and we should all be getting our ears ready because it will here on February 11th.
