Nas’ tenth solo studio album, Life Is Good, is due out in exactly one week and while people have been raving about the records he’s released and the ones on the project yet to be released, one particular record we’ll never get to hear is the Frank Ocean-featured “No Such Thing As White Jesus.” The song was lost as a casualty of a faulty hard drive.
According to Jon Caramanica of the New York Times, the Hit-Boy produced track sounded like Kanye West and Jay-Z’s “No Church In The Wild,” but even more amped.
Maybe the two go back to the studio and recreate the track in the near future when they find the time, but for now, it will live in our prayers as a memory that never was.
