Rhymefest talks Relationship With Kanye West
Rhymefest just released his new documentary In My Father’s House, based on reuniting with his estranged, homeless father. In an exclusive clip from the film, he talks to his dad about coming up with Kanye West at the age of 16-17.
Rhymefest and Kanye didn’t start out so good. After Yeezy approached him to provide beats, Rhymefest told his friends about how arrogant and crazy he was. Kanye then caught wind of that, but instead of jumping him, they ended up hanging out and having the best time.
From then on, it was history in the making. Rhymefest was even responsible for finding the sample on “Jesus Walks,” which he talks more about.
