It’s a new day for RJ because that 400 Summer contract is a wrap and he’s now independent on EMPIRE. To kick start the new campaign, Mr. LA is going back to his roots and how he grew up with “Apartment” — shoutouting out all of the people out there living in complexes and the projects. The record certainly sounds like past stuff, but he’s telling stories of folks he used to ride with, some of his homies and what they used to do in apartments when he was growing up. Plus, he brought the block out to represent.
