Sleeze Boyz – Robo Cop
This list wouldn’t be complete without paying homage to one of the tracks that inspired the RoboCop dance phenomenon. The record is centered around a dope breakbeat layered with memorable sound bytes from the original movie & raps with a robotic vocal effect that sounds like a prehistoric version of auto tune. Due to legal reasons, the group eventually had to remove the movie samples & title, repackaging the track as ‘Dance Till You Drop’. Dubstep fans take note of Electic Method’s dance record redux in anticipation of this years RoboCop movie release.
