Everyone has to remember Soulja Boy’s debut single because in 2007 there was no escaping it. At the 50th Annual Grammy Awards, it even received a nomination for Best Rap Song! It might not make sense to look too deep into these lyrics, but it’s not hard to imagine a young De’andre inspired by the dance moves of some drunken relatives somewhere along the way. Which would be so ironic considering the amount of dance floor debauchery this song proliferated. One things for sure, someone had to school him on the future of law enforcement because RoboCop debuted thirteen years before Soulja’s born day.
