Rome Fortune has proven he isn’t just any old rapper. In “Pure,” easily one of his most personal songs to date, the Atlanta native searches for something authentic. Influenced by the sparkling production helmed by Jacques Greene, he mutters: “I appreciate the pain, it make me relevant.” It’s full of paranoia, and with help from the likes of Four Tet, the future looks bright for Fortune.
