During his recent media promo tour in the city, The-Dream stopped by Hot97 for to sit down with Rosenberg and Old Man E for the next installment of the “Juan EP”. In the clip, he opens things up with discussing his ancestry roots that he can trace back 4 generations back to Africa and how he got his name Nash when his family was initially in NY.
Dream continued on with touching on the story of selling Beyoncé the idea of her biggest song ever “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” which he would co-write and co-produce. Being around Timbaland, he also spoke on transitioning from a songwriter and a beat-maker to becoming a full-fledged producer. Among other things from losing relationships with friends due to money and publishing conflicts, Dream opens up about not fighting Britney Spears legally, his album and the current climate of R&B.
