It’s a good day for the GS9 click because today Rowdy Rebel has been released from Collins Correctional Facility. The Brooklyn rapper has been in prison since 2016, when he plead guilty to one count of third-degree conspiracy and one count of weapons possession.
Until December 15 (at the latest), he will be under community supervision.
As for Bobby Shmurda, he was denied parole, but his sentence is schedule to end in December of 2021. So, he has about one more year until he’s back home.
Fans are excited for Rowdy to be back and are waiting for him to link up with Brooklyn Drill producers like AXL Beats or 808 Melo for new music. Obviously, the crew influenced a lot of what’s going on now, so it’ll be fresh to see what they cook up now that they’re home.
