It’s no secret that one of the hottest collaborations this year in rap has been the ScHoolboy Q’s late-night cut “Studio” with BJ The Chicago Kid. Fresh from receiving an official nomination for track of the year, as well as album of the year for the upcoming 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards next month, Q’s popular single is revisited.
Although the verses and chorus haven’t been altered, the legendary Nasir Jones makes a stop by the studio to add-in a few verses for an official remix, provided by the good people of Top Dawg Entertainment. While Nas is teases a full-length LP and follow-up to his 2012 effort Life Is Good is on the way, Q’s also been in spring training mode – readying his more sophomore album for the months to come.
Can we get a Black Hippy and Nas collaboration(s), though?
