Get ready for a flood from Eminem & Shady Records next week!
This Tuesday, Eminem will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of his major debut album, The Slim Shady LP. Shady Records upcoming compilation album, Shady XV focuses on the label’s greatest hits as well as new music from Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D12 and Yelawolf – still sadly missing a new G-Unit track.
Elliott Wilson and Brian Miller recently sat down with Paul Rosenberg to share a few stories with meeting Eminem and the forthcoming double-disc project. Shadyville alumnus, DJ Whoo Kid was also on hand to discuss how they couldn’t fit 130 records into the compilation, but did reveal a new 66-track mixtape will arrive to coincide with the anniversary effort. Clocking in at three hours, the project will include new releases, freestyles your favorite cuts from the past – including previously unreleased tracks heard for the first time.
