One thing that we’ve been loving about Sharon Van Etten is the calmness of her music. Her voice doesn’t go over the top, the production leans more towards the minimalistic and slower tempo, plus it’s a nice change of pace in comparison to what’s currently out. “Every Time The Sun Comes Up,” the final track on her upcoming Are We There album, may be a little more “country” than we’d like, but we can still get jiggy with it.
This probably plays better when it’s a rainy day and you just want to stay inside.
