Even while behind bars, Shotti’s name still holds supreme reign on the streets. Earlier this month, DJ Akademiks’ interview with 6ix9ine and Wack 100 went viral. For the first time ever, we saw an official gang member of Los Angeles having a sit-down with Tekashi after his RICO case.
With Wack 100 calling 6ix9ine a civilian and stating that he wasn’t surprised by anything that happened after the arrest, he received major backlash from those that have music industry relationships with Tr3yway. Last week, Ak confirmed that Shotti would be granted his own interview, which shows the type of power he still has.
Although he’s locked up, Mr. Jordan has people on the outside, something Mr. Akademiks wouldn’t want to have go left. While letting Tekashi air out things with Shotti, the Brooklyn CEO made it apparent to clear his name in the previews. First with the entire wiretap situation, as well as not robbing 6ix9ine.
From our perspective, Shotti loving 6ix9ine too much and letting the Tekashi character grow out of control is what hurt their relationship.
Shotti even went as far as to say that he’ll put up $1.5 million on a fight with his son vs. 6ix9ine – confirming that he’s comfortable behind the walls until the eventual touchdown in a few more years.
