Sir Michael Rocks Breaks Down Debut Album “Banco”

Last week, Sir Michael Rocks released his debut studio album, Banco. In his recent promo run through NYC, the Chicago-based rapper walked through the streets of 30 Rockefeller Plaza to conduct interviews with pedestrians if they knew what word “Banco Popular” meant. When most civilians answered no, S.M.R. revealed the word derived from bank in Spanish.

After one person described a bank as a place you could trust, Mike went to chime in stating it meant popular or people’s bank, which he views himself as the bank of the people. Continue below for more from the video and support his new album on iTunes.
