With his new EP titled Are You OK? dropping later this month, Skizzy Mars is sharing a video for “American Dream.” The clip, directed by Suj, finds Skizzy returning to where his life began in Harlem, New York, posted up between a basketball court and hallways.
“I wanted to talk my shit, but more importantly paint a picture of my story and talk about some of the stuff I experienced growing up that made me,” he says. “For the video, Suj and I wanted to capture the authenticity and rawness of my hometown, Harlem. We filmed it all within like 10 blocks of where I grew up.
