Slum Village Prepare New Album
Detroit’s own Slum Village stick to what they do best on their new single, out this week. The trio of T3, Illa J and Young RJ are joined by A Tribe Called Quest’s Phife Dawg for a feature on “Push It Along,” filled with nothing but bars over a raw instrumental. Their upcoming album Yes, the follow-up to Evolution from 2013, is due out later this year.
