Smokey Robinson has so many classics, he can virtually put anyone on some of his old songs and it will sound good. Just last week, we heard John Legend. Now we get the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige to lend her vocals to the legendary artist. Considering this was probably one of the tracks Mary grew up with, she sounds right in pocket alongside Smokey, to give the single new life.
We’ll see what Miguel, Sheryl Crow and Elton John bring to the table next.
