Soulja Boy has been sentenced to 240 days in jail and 265 days of community service for violating the terms of his probation, TMZ reports.
The rapper was taken into custody on April 11th after a judge said he failed to do his court-ordered community service, and conspired to falsify evidence that he had completed it. Soulja will begin his sentence straight away, with credit of 40 days served.
In February, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reportedly discovered ammo during a raid of Soulja’s Agoura Hills home, in response to a woman’s claim that the rapper held her hostage in his garage.
Soulja is barred from possessing guns or ammunition after he was convicted in 2014 for carrying a loaded weapon in a vehicle.
