The Time Stack Bundles Met Jay-Z to Get Signed & What Happened

During the peak years of 50 Cent and Kanye West in the mid to late 2000s, we respected their impact on the game. However, this website, beyond the front page, has been home to Max B and Stack Bundles. More so, that the love stretched from our blocks in New York to the mid-west gangsters, southern players and west-coast bangers.

A few months ago, Skane Dolla was guest on FlipDaScript to discuss a few rare stories from his time with Jay-Z at Roc-a-Fella and DJ Clue’s Desert Storm. One of the more interesting stories, was when he put in a good word for Stack Bundles to Jigga twice. This led to Stacks auditioning for Iceberg Slim, but failed to get signed.

Jay was surprisingly a fan of Stack but didn’t believe he had what it took to blow up in the mainstream. Considering his focus was Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Young Jeezy and Fabolous; we believe Stack could’ve eclipsed a few of those names given the opportunity. Take a look at the clip below.
