Stefan Ponce has produced for the likes of Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, Childish Gambino and Kanye West in his career, but he’s putting out a debut album of his own later this year. Today, the Chicago artist is sharing the first single “Super Star,” and it’s a collaboration with theMIND, Julian Bell, Micah Freeman and KYLE.
“I had produced a song for KYLE, ‘Endless Summer Symphony,’ after meeting him through Childish Gambino years ago,” Stefan says. “I’m grateful to have someone as talented as KYLE, who’s such a good person, to hop on the song. He added such a different perspective from what we had originally.”
The album is titled The Boy Who Fell from Earth and drops this fall.
