Stormzy has been having a crazy few years with songs like “Not That Deep,” “Know Me From” and “Shut Up” setting the blueprint for grime, but it looks like things will be taking off again very soon. Today, several mysterious billboards have popped up across London (including Shoreditch and Hammersmith), with all signs pointing towards Stormzy.
The ads feature the MC’s #MERKY logo with messages like “Ain’t dropped nothing for a minute. I’m fine,” “All my black kings rise up man, this is our year,” “Who’s gonna stop me?! You!? Him?!” and “You’re getting way too big for your boots.” Also on the billboards is the hashtag #GSAP alongside the date February 24th.
Could Stormzy’s debut album be dropping next month?
