Sway Speaks On A Tribe Called Quest’s “Low End Theory”

Sway remembers ATCQ and the movement they created up in New York, who he says created a lane for all the creative people who didn’t know how to channel that energy and they related to people outside of NYC.

He also mentions how the diversity in hip-hop at that time was beautiful and how every artist in different regions had a lane and could survive in that atmosphere.

You can read VH1’s Album-Versaries piece, celebrating 20 years of the Low End Theory on their site now.
