Earlier this morning, Top Dawg Entertainment’s first lady SZA made her way to “The World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show,” The Breakfast Club. During the interview, the 23-year-old singer opened up about her private life, being influenced by Wu-Tang Clan growing up (hence the name) and studying marine biology several years ago. The conversation moved onto meeting Top Dawg and her newfound musical career being organic after a random meeting spawned into making it a legitimate profession. With her latest Z EP currently out now, Angela Yee asked whether an official album was coming soon, but she cited wanting to let her artistic craft develop more first.
She then went on to discuss working with Thundercat, opening last night for Coldplay and relationships with her TDE cohorts; where Charlamagne Tha God offered some insightful advice.
