T.I. Confirms New Upcoming Collaborations With Justin Timberlake

We saw this collaboration coming from a mile away, and even though T.I. wasn’t one of the artists we chose as picks to collaborate with Justin this year, it’s good to see the two went back to the studio to cook, for what we can assume will be a SMASH record.

In this clip with MTV, T.I. explains that at the end of 2012, he jumped in the lab with JT and Timbaland and cut about two or three records for the upcoming The 20/20 Experience album from Justin. One track is called “Goodbye Homie,” which TIP explains represents more than just a person and more the feeling when you say goodbye to something.

Let’s hope it sounds more like “My Love” than “Dead and Gone.
