It was all good just a few months ago. Or at least it appeared so, because things are now at opposites sides of the court room for T-Pain and Lil Wayne. Well, sort of.
Nappy Boy Entertainment has filed a lawsuit against Cash Money Records because T-Peezy claims he is owed over $500,000 for his contributions to the successful Tha Carter III album. T-Pain was featured and produced “Got Money,” but hasn’t seen a dime from it yet.
And you already know this isn’t the first time Cash Money gets taken to court for something like this. There have been plenty of artists in the past who have sued the company for not being paid. Shit, even Weezy F. has his own lawsuit with them, to the tune of $51 million dollars, which is still ongoing and has yet to be resolved.
TMZ is saying Young Money is being sued in the lawsuit, but the album was released through Cash Money Records.
