On several separate occasions this year, Ta-ku has delivered reworks of some of our current favorite tracks by managing to incorporate a trademark twist of his own, whilst keeping the basis of the sample. The producer’s latest work arrives in the form of a take on Jhené Aiko‘s recent “Comfort Inn Ending,” in which he flips the title and renames his version as “We Were In Love.” As one of eight tracks from his forthcoming Songs To Break Up To EP next month, you can expected to hear more cuts with a similar sense of emotion within them.
