Ta’East – Blackmale

TaEast and Cairo Mayeson are turning out to be quite the rapper-producer duo. After performing at ComplexCon over the weekend, Los Angeles native Ta’East is back sharing his new song “Blackmale.” Speaking on the track, he says, “This is a retrospective look into the mind of a young black man learning his truths through trial and error while responding to the whitelashing of the progressive state of America.”

When you listen to Ta’East, you’ll notice he doesn’t hold back on respecting his elders, whether it’s giving props to 2pac and Biggie, or like on this track, referencing some Kendrick lines on the hook and bigging up Puffy and T.I.
