We’re starting a new series here on OnSMASH called “Tale Of The Tape.” The series will showcase artists we fuck with, right before they drop a mixtape as they sit down with Relly for an intimate interview to discuss an array of topics.
To debut the series, Relly sat down with Joe Budden before his show in CT, on the eve of the release of A Loose Quarter. The two talk about crazy fan stories on the road, his relationship with Kaylin Garcia and how it’s different than any other females he’s dated, getting back into the battle scene and putting Tsu-Surf on the mixtape, as well as his upcoming mixtape, with a bulk of the production from araabMUZIK and Cardiak.
On a more hilarious note, Relly grills Budden about the “Man Behind The Megapixels,” (AKA who the fuck takes his pictures on Instagram?) and Joe briefly speaks on his upcoming season of Love & Hip-Hop (premiering on VH1 on January 7th), and his sneaker closet, even though he stresses he’s not a collector.
Peep the extensive interview with Joe Budden and Relly above and get ready for A Loose Quarter to drop on Black Friday. Are you in that mood yet??
Directed by Camacho.
