Ok, so it’s more of an Andre 3000 track from The Love Below, but close enough.
Who would have thought Tame Impala were Outkast fans? It’s actually pretty dope they are, because they’re the last people we’d expect to hear covering “Prototype.” They even said this is one of their favorite tracks of all time. Talk about mind = blown.
Tame Impala visited radio station Triple J recently and performed the Outkast record live from Australia. It was very impressive and even though the vocals were lacking a bit (we’re too biased towards 3 Stacks), we appreciate what they brought to the table.
