If Tame Impala is coming out of the woodworks to record Michael Jackson covers, we’re hoping they’ve recorded some original material as well, because it’s been two years since they released Lonerism. “Stranger In Moscow” is taken from MJ’s HIStory album and is a pleasant surprise to hear the psychedelic band paying homage to the greatest icon of all time. Plus, they’re no strangers to covers.
This one is “fresh out of the oven,” like they said, so enjoy some fresh new shit from Tame Impala. If you’re not in tune with their music, watch the video for “Mind Mischief” and put yourself on. That visual is a gem, for real.
