You may not have heard of Tayla Parx much, but she’s been behind-the-scenes on TV and songwriting. She’s garnered GRAMMY nominations already for her pen game (she’s written songs for Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Christina Aguilera) and appeared on shows like Bones, Gilmore Girls and Everybody Hates Chris. Now she’s trying to break out solo on the music tip with her TAYLAMADE album.
Though none of those aforementioned artists appear on the new effort, she still has some respected names on there. Syd and Khalid both make the cut, but most records on the 20-track project are going to be all her. It’s a good chance to get to know her, her sound and what she’s bringing to the table for this generation.
