On the surface, it looks like TDE released a total of five albums this year, with Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rashad, and the newest of them all, Lance Skiiiwalker, all dropping new projects. However, label CEO Anthony ‘Top Dawg’ Tiffith has taken to Twitter to reveal that TDE did in fact release six albums in 2016.
i dropped 6 albums this yr. John Doe 1 n 2 both dropped. @skiiiwalker was 1 of them. do you know who the other 1 is ? i will reveal in 2017

One look at the comments and you’ll see names like Kembe X (managed by TDE’s Moosa) and Kemba (brought out by Kendrick in Brooklyn) flying around, but the most likely looks to be SiR.
The rising name followed up last year’s Seven Sundays with his HER EP in October, featuring a guest spot from Big K.R.I.T. SiR is from the West Coast (Inglewood to be specific), people in TDE (including Kendrick) tweeted the release, and it came out through iiinglewood SiR, which could be a reference to their HiiiPoWeR movement. He also featured on Jay Rock’s “The Ways” from 90059.
We’ll find out for sure in 2017.
