Terrace Martin is never not working, whether it’s putting out solo albums or producing for the likes of Kendrick Lamar.
The Los Angeles musician recently put together a new supergroup called The Pollyseeds, made up of the likes of Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, Problem, Rose Gold, Brandon Owens, Dr. Dre collaborator Trevor Lawrence Jr. and Wyann Vaughn, daughter of the Emotions singer Wanda Vaughn. Today, he’s sharing the outcome of their work in the form of a new jazz album titled Sounds of Crenshaw, Vol. 1.
