Teyana Taylor Reveals ‘Fade’ Choreography was Originally Planned for Beyoncé

Just imagine Beyoncé in ‘Fade’, though

Last Sunday, at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards in Manhattan, the world was introduced to Teyana Taylor through the help of Kanye West. The uptown girl was tapped to star in Yeezy’s new music video for Fade,” as the 25-year-old entertainer stole the show as the star of the visual.

Through the 4-minute experience that her G.O.O.D. Music mentor planned for MTV over the weekend, Taylor was approached by Vogue Magazine after the big night and shared a huge revelation about the creation process for her coming out party.

Teyana went to say, “The dance scene at the very, very end, maybe the last eight counts that I did; me and one of my homeboys Matthew Pasterisa actually made that choreography for Beyoncé for when the “End of Time” came out. She loved it but she wound up not being able to use it because she was pregnant, but back then the world didn’t know. All this time that choreography was just sitting there. And as soon as I was freestyling it just came out naturally.”

Maybe after witnessing this reaction first-hand, we’re hopeful the Queen taps Tee for future considerations in helping coordinate dance moves. Some more of these sensual gems from Taylor wouldn’t be bad, though, if Mrs. Carter decides to go in different directions moving forward.
