The 57th GRAMMY Award Nominations

grammyawards

Who’s getting snubbed this year?

One of the more controversial award shows of the year, the GRAMMY Awards have just released their nominations and much like past years, not everyone will agree with who’s on the list. Of course, we know historically that the GRAMMYs haven’t provided the most clear look at what’s actually going on in music, but it’s still a big accomplishment to be nominated.

Record of the year will pit Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor with their smash hits, while Contemporary Album will see Pharrell, Beyonce, Jhene Aiko and Chris Brown go at it head-to-head. Sam Smith is nominated in pretty much every category you can think of, so we can already see him sweep the award show.

The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards, air live on Sunday Feb. 8, 2015 on CBS at 8pm EST straight from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
