When you want to listen to that gutter hip-hop that oozes of New York back alley smell, it definitely has to be an Alchemist beat. Not only that, but you’d need a crazy spitter to lace the track and help make the production come in sync with the flows.
That’s exactly what Roc Marciano and The Alchemist did on “The Turning Point,” another track from ALC’s Russian Roulette album. But you should be used to this kind of sound if you’re a fan of either of the two.
