Here we are, 19 years after the release of the first edition of The Beatles Live at the BBC and 50 years away from the original recordings of these tracks during 1963–1964 BBC Radio broadcasts. It’s pretty crazy to think after all this time, there’s still unreleased recordings of the biggest band of all time out there.
With the release of On Air – Live At The BBC Volume 2, Apple Corps Ltd. releases a video for “Words of Love,” their cover of Buddy Holly’s song of the same name. Of course, this was before the Yellow Submarine’s and Abbey Road’s of their catalog.
On the horizon, The GRAMMYs are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their classic appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show with a two-hour special airing this February.
