With an energy and friendship seldomly matched in today’s industry, the two teaming up for a project like MCHG, was destined to happen. Even through their rocky relationship, the two maintained a mutual respect for one another. While not everything they collaborated on was a certified classic (and there have been some true duds along the way), there is no denying the handful of work the two have walked out of the studio with has been proven timeless over the years. As Timbo put it in a recent interview leading up the release, when they reconnected, it was “powerful.”
