Jay-Z – Off That (feat. Drake)
Off that was one of three Timbaland produced tracks off The Blueprint 3 and also one of three tracks which featured up and comers (see: J. Cole, KiD CuDi and Drake). One thing that made this track so notable was Jay leaving Drake on the hook and not giving him a verse. Most thought Hov did that so he wouldn’t risk getting renegaded again.
All the stuff they talked about on “Off That” didn’t last long because both Drake and Jay both rock Timbs to this day. Typical hypocritical rapper shit. “Always wanna fight in the club and we off that,” — pardon us, we had to laugh at that.
